12 year old, 16.2hh bay purebred Clydesdale gelding, $6000

A sweet boy with a gentle temperament and kind, willing attitude to work. He has been in professional harness training and is currently working absolutely beautifully in chains, singularly or in a pair. Nice active horse with forward, regular paces and a very correct, steady pull. Good, soft mouth and is responsive to voice. Currently in a plain snaffle. A pleasure to drive. Nice, clean and straight movement. Good on the road, good to handle, with his feet etc. Driving well in an open bridle. Has been ridden regularly - responsive and sensible to ride. Last photo shows him being ridden on a busy State Highway - no worries whatsoever. A quality horse that would suit a person with some experience looking for an all-round family working horse.

Tommy is a lovely stallion with a HUGE amount of presence. He is rising 6 yrs old, standing 17hh and is a registered Clydesdale with an exceptional nature and temperament. He is very correct conformationally and has good bone. Tommy has been extensively worked under saddle and in harness with a variety of mares and geldings. Tommy is lovely to ride and work and has been shown and competed in many ploughing and A & P shows. His colouring and markings are exceptional with him being jet black and not roany in color. His lovely black coloring has come through to a large percentage of his progeny.

He is easily hand served with and is very much a gentleman to work with, ride, serve with, work in chains, plough, float, truck, trim, worm, catch etc. Tommy will stand behind tape no matter what is on the other side, he is very easy to manage and really is a special special horse.
Tommy is currently being worked and served by a small woman so despite his size he is quite manageable and kind. Photos are of Tommy working in harness and also being ridden. Foals by him can be viewed on our property.

This is an extremely difficult sale and he will only go to the best of homes. Tommy would be an amazing asset to any stud. If your looking for that special beautiful stallion and all around friend this is the horse to look at!

WANTED

I am looking for a good all-rounder to do a bit of everything from riding club to trekking to bit of low key show days that isn't fazed by much and is a chilled out sort. I need to build back my confidence so need a quiet horse that has done a bit of most things and doesn't mind me being nervous occasionally. Needs to be good to float, farrier, worm etc good with company and without, good with farm machinery and all that sort of thing. Would absolutely love a draft cross or clydie cross as adore them, prefer gelding but not essential. Height wise I need about 16hh as I am not short.
